This week, shortly before Easter, I was a guest at a special company visit by the BKU - Association of Catholic Entrepreneurs - to Rudolf Hürth's studio in Bonn. The architect, sculptor, and painter has developed his own artistic language of form with his "Strotoplastic Pictures." For me, this is an impressive example of how material, space, and attitude merge together.
Rüdiger von Stengel, founder of the nationwide project developer Art-Invest Real Estate and committed BKU board member, initiated the evening.
Art and real estate development have more similarities than you might think. Both professions require a strong idea, a clear structure, and a great deal of discipline in implementation. With Rudolf Hürth, this creative process was clearly noticeable. In our industry, consistency is also decisive in the end. Those who carry their vision through will shape rooms with quality for many years to come. Especially in an increasingly standardized market environment, this demand for design consistency becomes a real differentiating factor.
My thanks to Rüdiger von Stengel and Rudolf Hürth for the invitation and the exchange.
I wish all clients, institutions, and business partners a happy Easter.
