The Federation of Catholic Entrepreneurs (BKU) hosted a reception for the Catholic Day in Erfurt this week. The evening's speaker was the Minister-President of Saxony-Anhalt, Dr. Reiner Haseloff (CDU). The committed Catholic is the first Roman Catholic Minister President in Saxony-Anhalt.
During his speech, Minister President Dr. Reiner Haseloff emphasized that Christianity does not seek to replace politics, but rather, it provides a foundation of values and a way of life for our community. For instance, the German Constitution's guarantee of human dignity is rooted in the Christian perspective of humanity.
Since I had previously completed my Master's degree in real estate valuation as an expert at Anhalt University in Saxony-Anhalt, it was a particular pleasure for me to meet the father of the state in person. He was certain that I had enjoyed a first-class education at Anhalt University. My professional career would be built on a solid foundation.
The Federation of Catholic Entrepreneurs (BKU) acts as an interface between business, the church, and politics. The event took place on the premises of the market and social research institute INSA-Consulere.
Many thanks to the BKU organizers and the hospitality of the host, former State Secretary and INSA Managing Director Hermann Binkert, for a successful and inspiring event.
